Well, generally, the ones that sucker me are the ones without teasers. And I've been guilty of posting without teasers too, but I wouldn't dare post bashing icons there. Just out of consideration. The thing is, the comm is run by one of the most strident Anti-Rosefen members. So Rose & Rosefen bashing is acceptable and not at all punished or even frowned upon.

That's not true, I don't allow any bashing. If there are icons bashing Rose then I delete the posts. I'm behind at the moment as I'm busy in RL, but if there have been any such posts in the past couple of days, I'd appreciate a link so I could remove them.

Thanks for taking care of the problem, but I do want to address the fact that I didn't say you were anti-Rose, I said you were anti-Rosefen.

The fact of the matter is that your attitude towards shippers of the Doctor and Rose has bred a sense of acceptance of bashing on shippers. You are not on board 24-7, nor do I expect you to be. RL effects all of us, I know that better than many. But your private attitudes are reflected in public regularly. And those public attitudes are where the members will take their lead from. Just a thought.

Another thought would be to maybe take on someone as a co-mod to help you deal with such matters. I can't imagine trying to run such a popular and well trafficked comm as yours with less than three to four mods. To do it all yourself seems slightly insane. Not to mention having various members of DW fandom from different POVs as mods would make it seem like there's a lot less bias amongst the leadership.

I didn't say that. All I'm saying is that your attitude towards shippers makes it seem "okay" in the eyes of the less discerning. So having someone else who has a favorable view of shippers might not be a bad idea, that's all.
