Baa! I'm a sheep.
May. 16th, 2007 09:55 pmSince everyone else is doing this one...
Name a character and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my own personal pseudo-canon.
My main fandoms are Doctor Who, Heroes, Firefly, & Rome. Please keep in mind I am under the influence of narcotics and my answers may or (more likely) may not make sense. Heh.

Date: 2007-05-17 03:33 am (UTC)1. When Inara was 13, she was smacked by her first crush/boyfriend. She smacked him back and swore no man would ever touch her without her permission again.
2. She may make tea for all her guests, but when Kaylee comes over for their regular all-night, girlie gab-fests, she makes sure to have a good stash of cocoa on hand. Jayne made the mistake of trying to eavesdrop one night and got engine oil in his coffee the next morning for his troubles.
3. After the events of Miranda, she stayed aboard Serenity but lay some ground rules down. First, Mal was required to give Zoe the time off to join her and Kaylee for events mentioned in #2. And her attendance was compulsory, which Zoe never questions. Second, Mal had Inara's undivided attention every other night. That's never questioned either.

Buha! That's amazing. I bet she was able to pawn it off into someone else, too. "Did Simon drug you again, Jayne? Woe duh ma."

HA! Yup. Something tells me it would take Jayne a few swigs before he even caught on that something was wrong.

I know! They are one of my all-time OTPs. Right up there with D/R.

Date: 2007-05-17 03:49 am (UTC)It was bad. I've gone through an emergency c-section recovery and natural (painkiller free) childbirth. I would have traded the pain I was in Monday for either or both of those in a heartbeat if given the choice.

Oh, Jayne. Buha! He'd probably just assume Mal was buying the one made from protein preservatives again in order to cut back on spending. *G*

Date: 2007-05-17 03:25 pm (UTC)The actual surgery and the pain afterwards was NOTHING compared to what I had before I had them out. The recovery from the surgery was BLISS compared to that pain.
So I sympathize. And by all means have oral surgery ASAP.

Date: 2007-05-17 03:47 pm (UTC)Yeah, I have NEVER felt pain like that before. It had me doubled over in tears while waiting for the school bus.
I'm hoping I can convince them to just go ahead and yank it on Monday, but I'm sure they'll want to schedule it for another day. It better e soon though.

Date: 2007-05-17 04:37 pm (UTC)1. After Van Statten's "museum", Rose got Adam settled in and then confronted the Doctor about the events of the Time War. That was when he told her how the war ended and what he had done to bring it about. He asked her if she wanted to leave. She laughed at him and reminded him that he was stuck with her. He always thought that being stuck with her wasn't so bad.
2. When Jack came on board, he was actually thankful. It was nice having another pair of hands to work on the TARDIS (and no, Rose handing him tools with a bored look on her face never counted) and another set of eyes to look out for Rose. As long as said eyes were simply confirming her presence. Anything beyond that was punishable by jettison. And he made sure Jack knew that. Repeatedly.
3. He wasn't really worried about Mickey when he was watching Rose walk off with him in Boom Town. He knew they really weren't together because Rose had changed so much. He was worried about Rose. He didn't think she could see how much she had grown and that it would only cause her heartache in the end. When she came back without him after everything happened, he truly felt badly for her. She thought Mickey deserved better, but she didn't see what the Doctor saw. That she was the best.
